In order to request a ride, you must first identify the vanpool you wish to join.

If you already know of a CalVans driver with an available seat for you, you may search by the driver’s name. If you do not know the driver’s name, you can easily identify his or her route by entering its start and end points. Please click on Verify Address to ensure accurate results. All available nearby routes will be displayed, so be careful to select the correct vanpool.

Once you locate the vanpool you wish to join, you may send an email to the driver by clicking the “Request” button. If you haven’t already selected a specific vanpool to join, you can use the search feature on this page to find one.

If you do not find a workable route, feel free to search suggested routes. If enough users suggest a similar route, CalVans will attempt to establish a new vanpool to meet your needs.
